Tips for Packaging and Selling
If you plan to sell this Graham Boston Cream Cake, presentation and storage are important. Chilled desserts like this are popular in online food businesses, especially when packed in clear tubs or rectangular deli containers that show off the beautiful layers.
Recommended Packaging
Use rectangular deli containers for a clean and professional look. These are stackable, space-saving, and give customers a clear view of the product. You can buy the same type of container I use here on Shopee.
💡 TIP: When selling in tubs, be sure to:
- Add a tamper-proof seal or sticker label
- Include a best-before date (usually good for up to 3–4 days when chilled)
- Store in a cold container if delivering via rider service
- Offer both solo tubs (for individual orders) and party trays (for bulk orders)
The cake travels well when chilled properly. Make sure the custard is thick and the chocolate topping is set before packing. You can also use cling wrap inside the lid to avoid smudging during delivery.
Pricing can depend on location and size, but a single-serving tub is usually priced between ₱60 to ₱80, while a small tray may go from ₱250 to ₱350 depending on your ingredient cost.
